چکیده
Nanomaterials, due to their large aspect-to-size ratio and reactive surfaces that facilitate access through biological barriers, can induce oxidative stress in host cells. Therefore, there is a growing concern about the risks of nanomaterials. This study investigated effects copper (1.5 mg/L) as CuO or nanoparticles (Cu-NPs) common carp Cyprinus carpio along with beneficial Myristiga fragrans seed extract (MFSE) administrated post-treatment at different doses (4 8 12 for 28 days. The MFSE exhibited protective role by reducing dose-dependent manner bioaccumulation Cu level (from 2.46 1.03 µg/Kg gills; from 2.44 1.06 kidney) Cu-NPs treated carps 1.23 2.47 1.09 well modulating blood parameters. A mitigation histological alterations induced exposure gills (i.e., primary secondary lamellar degeneration, fusion, necrosis) kidneys abnormal glomerulus, tubular injury, was also observed after administration. dietary supplementation modulated antioxidant defense respect elevated levels lipid peroxidation (LPO) glutathione (GST) reduced catalase (CAT) Cu-NPs. Overall, Cu-NPs-induced toxicity C. mitigated using MFSE. Further studies are suggested determine optimum dose delivery method guarantee sustainable conservation aquatic species.

Common Carp, Cyprinus carpio
The common carp (Cyprinus carpio) belongs to the family Cyprinidae. In nature, carp live in the middle or lower reaches of a river with slow currents, or in marshes. Their habitats are usually weedy areas with a muddy bottom. Carp fry feed on zooplankton such as rotifers and copepods, but as they grow up they become benthic feeders, feeding on animals and other organic material. The cyprinids h...

Distribution ! e common carp [Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus (1758)] has been one of the oldest domesticated species of fi sh for food. Culture of carp in China dates back to at least the 5th century BC, although domestication began much later. ! e European races of carp derived from wild carp of the Danube; the earliest attempts date back to the Roman Empire and spread of Christianity in Europe, fro...
متن کاملAcute Toxicity and Behavioral Responses of Common Carp Cyprinus carpio (Linn.) To an Organophosphate (Dimethoate)
Dimethoate, a broad spectrum OP insecticide is a potential toxic pollutant, adversely affecting the fauna of aquatic ecosystem. The aim of present study was to assess the acute toxicity of dimethoate on fingerlings of common carp, Cyprinus carpio. The fingerlings were exposed to dimethoate to determine LC values for 24, 48, 72 and 96 h and to study the behavioural alterations. The mortality dat...

In the European Union, the use of the insecticide NeemAzal T/S (standardised variant 1% of the active ingredient azadirachtin) is authorised in organic agriculture. The objective of this study was to determine the toxic effects of NeemAzal T/S at concentrations of 3, 10, 30, and 60 mg/l on the morphometric and condition characteristics, mortality, hatching, and histopathology of early-life stag...

The present study was conducted to evaluate some of the intrinsic immunodeficiency characteristics of serum and Cyprinus carpio in the face of salinity stress. In order to do so, 180 normal carp breeding fish with an average weight of 0.62 ± 50 g were prepared and transferred to Shahid Fazli Barabadi Aquaculture Hall of Gorgan University of Fisheries and Environment. After two weeks of adaptati...
